Without doubt the most exciting and fast rising name to emerge from the progressive & trance scene in 2012, he capped the last year gatecrashing into the prestigious DJ Magazine Top 100 DJs at the end of October as the highest placed new trance DJ at #58. Still In his early 20’s, Omnia’s imagination was first captured by EDM sounds as a young boy in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. By his late teens Omnia had started to experiment with music production with a particular love of trance, but with influences drawn from many genres that have been his passion for over a decade. Self-taught in the studio, Omnia’s sound has a distinctive edge and a style that refuses to be pigeon holed. Omnia started to gain international recognition for his productions in 2011, releasing ‘My Inner Island’ ‘Plug & Play’ and ‘The Tune’ on Armada, while also remixing Markus Schulz ‘Surreal’ and Arty & Mat Zo ‘Rebound’. Impressive playlist support followed from A-list DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz and Above & Beyond, culminating in several Omnia track inclusions in Armin’s ‘A State Of Trance Year Mix 2011’ compilation and four tracks shortlisted in the ASOT ‘Tune Of The Year Poll’. Moving into 2012, Omnia somehow managed to raise his studio output to a whole new level with a run of massive singles and remixes that has left the EDM community spellbound and further fuelling demand for the distinctive Omnia sounds. Omnia & Ira ‘The Fusion’ stands out as possibly the biggest trance track of 2012 after hitting the Beatport #1 chart spot in April and remaining in the Top 50 positions for a whole six months. Elsewhere ‘Halo’ feat. Melissa Loretta was awarded ‘Future Favourite’ by Armin on ASOT and further chart topping singles followed with ‘Hearts Connected’ feat. Cathy Burton and the recent ‘Infina’ smash. Omnia’s remixes have also created massive waves in the trance scene, with his reworks of Cosmic Gate feat. Emma Hewitt ‘Calm Down’ and Ashley Wallbridge feat. Audrey Gallagher ‘Bang The Drum’ also hitting top chart spots and key playlists around the globe.
