UnionElectronic, Ink Promotions & MadHouse Productions have teamed up to bring Calgary an exciting meeting of two electronic dance music titans, BENNY BENASSI and SANDER VAN DOORN, set against an epic sound and light extravaganza at the Big Four Building!
BENNY BENASSI should need no introduction – since breaking through with his legendary single Satisfaction, the Italian producer has become one of dance music’s established innovators, helping define the current big room electro sound and welcoming a wide audience to the party in the process. Over the last year alone, he’s crashed both the dance floor and the radio charts with a string of sensational tracks – Spaceship (with vocalist Kelis), Cinema, Electroman (with T-Pain) and Beautiful People (with Chris Brown). His latest single on Ultra Records is Close to Me, with “Cinema” vocalist Gary Go back at the mic.
SANDER VAN DOORN has quickly risen into the DJ elite over the last few years, bolstered by a prolific output of epic productions under his own name and several alter egos that have become staples in any DJ’s sets. Tracks such as Grasshopper, Daddyrock and Koko are only a few of the instant classics he’s produced. In addition to his globetrotting DJ gigs and stunning productions, VAN DOORN hosts the popular Identity Radio show on XM Sirius and runs the solid DOORN Records label, which has released both of his artist albums, Supernaturalistic and the latest, ELEVE11, which features collaborations with Nadia Ali, Sidney Sampson and Laidback Luke.
